Sandro Botticelli (c. 1445–1510) was an Italian Renaissance painter from Florence, best known for his elegant, lyrical style and mythological scenes. His most famous works include The Birth of Venus and Primavera, which reflect Renaissance ideals of beauty, harmony, and classical mythology. Botticelli also painted religious subjects, often with expressive lines and delicate figures, and worked under the patronage of the powerful Medici family.
