Microsoft Office 2003, released in 2003, was a significant update to the productivity suite, introducing new applications like InfoPath and OneNote. It also included enhanced features for collaboration, SharePoint integration, and support for smart tags and XML. While core applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint received minor improvements, Outlook 2003 had major updates. Office 2003 was the last version to support Windows 2000 and the older "97-2003" file format.
